In The Air

I start a new project at work tomorrow and I will be honest and say that I am kinda nervous.

Ever since I was promoted back in June I do not operate as a working Flight Attendant. Let me rephrase that, I do if there is a snow storm and people can't make it to work, but it is very rare. I haven't operated a flight as a Flight Attendant since back in April 2010.

Tomorrow I will be spending the weekend flying around doing onboard aircraft evaluations of the working Flight Attendants. I am excited and nervous at the same time. Excited because I will be back on the aircraft zooming around at 37,000 feet but nervous because I know how some of these Flight Attendants behave when they undergo these evaluations.

I am flying from Orlando to New York and then off to Oakland to where I will catch my scheduled ride to the hotel in San Francisco. I will have a nice 24 hour layover in San Francisco but I will be so tired by the time I get to the hotel I will probably pass right out. I was debating whether I wanted to venture out to the bar and have a few beers or get a good night sleep so I can visit Alcatraz the next morning. 

We shall see how I feel when I finally make it to the Holiday Inn Golden Gateway.
