I saw this on Tosh.O for the first time and I was immediately on YouTube pulling this video up. I played it for everyone at work and it now sits at probably my favorite video on You Tube. Can Big Girls Fly? Watch and see!!

Justify My Love came out in late 1990. It was such a threat to mainstream America that it was banned on television. I find that extremely interesting that something was "banned" from American television, even back in 1990, and I wonder if this would be banned in 2011 if it just came out today? I'm glad that we have the internet now so that I can make the decision to watch something if I really want to. If I think something is too offensive I just won't watch it myself. Fuck censorship.
Madonna always knows what to sing about. If you can't celebrate life - why the fuck live it!!!
“Would you like to go to the Madonna concert with me?”
I had placed the idea that I was not gonna see Lady Gaga in the back of my head and decided to move on with my life.
So I was on reserve today from 0500-1700 but they didn’t call me. I was off for the day. I am so happy about that..
I met David for breakfast and laundry at like 1130a. That is our thing. We go to the laundromat and start the laundry..go eat breakfast..come back and put in the dryer..walk to CVS and then come back..fold and go. LOL
I couldn’t sleep late. I was still on eastern time. It was 7:30am and I was wide awake. We had all made a date to meet for breakfast at 8:30a upstairs in the concierge level.
I wanted to find out what was going to happen because my layover fell from 24.05 hrs to 23.00.
I called crew services and they transferred me to crew recovery and YUP. I timed out. I was illegal to work the flight back. I had to DH back the next day at 12:45p. Not only did I get to come to SJC but now instead of a 24hr layover I got a 37 hr layover. How fucking cool....
I think I may have just gotten off the best trip I will ever go on as a flight attendant. I know I have only been doing this for 6 months but something deep down inside tells me this.
I picked up an amazing trip with a layover in MCO and a 24hr layover in San Jose, CA (SJC).
Tonight was the Metrobears boat cruise around Manhattan. They have been doing this for 10 years. We got to the Dugout at like 530p so I could buy a ticket and it was so crowded inside the bar that we decided to wait outside. They had a tent set up and some dude was making hamburgers and within 5 minutes of standing out there the rain started. It rained so fucking hard. There was thunder and lightening and screaming queens everywhere.
Matt got back to the room at like 1am and we had to be up at 5am. I think he has only gotten like 7 1/2 hours of sleep the whole time we have been here in Vegas. We got up and had to take a cab to the airport. Our hotel was backed right up to the airport so it is like a 5 minute drive. I was glad to say goodbye to the Hooters Casino. I hope I never go back. haha
I got up at 9am this morning because the breakfast buffets end at 10am and I didn’t want to miss breakfast. LOL I had to drag Matt out of bed because he didn’t get in from poker until 5am this morning. He won $250 so that is pretty awesome.
Today was the day. I got in very late last night from the trip I was on and I was not in the mood to write about it. I was tired. BUT today is a very exciting day for me. Today is my Bear City audition in NYC. YEAH..
For Christmas, last year, I received tickets to see Mario Cantone. I didn’t think I was going to be able to go because I wasn’t sure I would get the time off from work. I was able to switch my days around and I saw the show last night.
Gay Days 2008 is upon us. This year we are not doing a lot of stuff. Lets face it, it is just so expensive. I am not paying $70/person to go to Disney when I have done that so many times. One of the best times that I have at Gay Days is Thursday night at Pleasure Island. There is a club there called 8 Trax and it is a 70’s & 80’s club. I HAVE SO MUCH FUN THERE...
I have seen Madonna 3 times in concert now. I saw her for the first time in 2001 when she performed the Drowned World Tour in Ft. Lauderdale. Then I went to the Reinvention Tour in 2004 and then in 2006 Matt and I attended the Confessions Tour in Miami. The women is an amazing entertainer. She can really put on a show.
Back on March 13 I had sent my resume to this company that had advertised in A Bear’s Life Magazine looking for actors for a movie they were going to be shooting in NYC. I sent my resume but I had not heard anything for months. I figured they weren’t interested in me. I know. I couldn’t understand that either. So today I got a phone call from the casting director for this movie. They want me to audition for the movie in NYC next week. I am pretty excited.
I have never been to the Statue of Liberty. I have seen it from New York Harbor and also from Brooklyn but I have never seen her up close and personal. Tamara, one of our roommates, decided to have a field trip today to Liberty Island & Ellis Island.
When I got back to JFK tonight I was pretty tired. It has been a long day. On our flight from San Juan back to Orlando this morning there was a customer who hacked and vomited for the whole trip. I would say he spent 2 1/2 hours out of the 3 hour trip in the bathroom...and NO we didn’t make him stay in there. If ONE more person asks me if I make customers sit in the bathroom during flights I am going to scream.
We were entertained by ULTRA NATE at the dance party last night. It was lots of fun. She sang her hits and we all danced. I had a blast. I actually got pretty drunk last night, but I did not make an ass out of myself.
Bear Trek is always a great event. I really enjoy it.. It is fun because everyone stays at the hotel and all the events are here. There are no bars in this area so they turn the ballrooms into big discos and parties. It is a completely different bear event from the ones that are in the big cities, but it is so much fun.
945pm
So we went to Brooklyn this afternoon and I had a really fun experience. David brought me to the Alligator Lounge. We got there at about 3pm. Here is the thing about this place. For every drink you buy...you get a free pizza. I know I know..You think I am on crack but I am SO telling the truth. So we get there and we each order a draft beer and the bartender asks us if we are ready for our pizza. I was still not expecting a PIZZA but like 5 minutes later she brought us each a cheese pizza. I have NEVER been any place before where you get a free pizza for every drink you get. That is crazy. How do they make money? So we sat there and ate our pizza and drank our beer. Then we ordered another beer and got another pizza. Each. We each got another pizza. We both ate 2 full medium pizzas and 3 beers at this place. It was so much fun. We sat there talking about our crazy sexual experiences. It has been determined that I am freakier than David. HAHA
